Physician – Primary Care (MD/DO)
San Francisco, CA
Overview:
Our outpatient primary care practice in San Francisco is seeking a Physician to provide comprehensive primary care services with a strong emphasis on work-life balance. This role offers a flexible schedule, with both full-time and part-time options available.
Position Offers:
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, full time or part time availability
- Competitive pay: $150–175/hour (DOE)
- No call required
- Malpractice coverage provided
- Health, dental, and vision insurance (for full-time)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive outpatient evaluations, diagnosis, and treatment plans
- Manage acute and chronic medical conditions using evidence-based guidelines
- Develop individualized patient care plans and monitor treatment progress
- Educate patients on preventive care, treatment options, and disease management
- Order and interpret diagnostic testing to support clinical decision-making
- Collaborate with clinical staff and specialists to coordinate patient care
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical record documentation
- Participate in quality improvement and care coordination initiatives
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or related primary care specialty
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Active or eligible California medical license and DEA registration
- Experience in outpatient primary care
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and patient relationship skills
- Proficiency with electronic medical records
