One Step Forward is hiring an ABA Therapist to provide individualized Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to children in Newark and surrounding Essex County communities.

This role offers the opportunity to work directly with children while helping them build communication, social, behavioral, and daily living skills through evidence based ABA programs. We are looking for motivated professionals who are passionate about helping children make meaningful progress.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Provide direct one on one ABA therapy sessions

• Implement individualized treatment plans developed by a BCBA

• Teach communication, social, adaptive, and daily living skills

• Implement skill acquisition and behavior reduction programs

• Utilize ABA strategies including reinforcement, prompting, shaping, and behavior intervention techniques

• Collect accurate session data and complete detailed session notes

• Collaborate with supervising BCBAs regarding treatment progress and goals

What We’re Looking For

• Experience working with children preferred

• ABA, RBT, Behavior Technician, childcare, special education, or behavioral health experience is a plus

• Reliable transportation

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Dependable, professional, and motivated
