Job description

Position Summary:

The Nothing Bundt Cakes Bakery Trainer embodies and fosters all aspects of the Nothing Bundt Cakes (NbC) culture and core values. Their significant focus includes instruction of all new Bakery Owners/Operators, as well as certifying existing Managers on the Nothing Bundt Cakes Bakery operational standards and methodologies. They are dedicated trainers ensuring brand standards are trained to ensure participants have the ability to fully execute on NbC brand standards. The majority of training sessions are conducted in fully operational local Certified Training Bakeries.

Accountabilities/Duties:

  • Ensuring NbC guidelines and standards are met.
  • Conduct training classes including but not limited to Y.O.U. Training classes, Manager Certifications and specialized boot camps.
  • Adhere to established training curriculum and guidelines.
  • Responsible for delivering the structured curriculum, even while training in a training Bakery.
  • Deliver training with a strong emphasis on hands-on learning, complemented by classroom sessions, conducted on-site at the Bakery.
  • Cultivate a cohesive and professional working relationship with company-owned Management and Team Members.
  • Support NbC Company Bakeries in meeting all required criteria for certification.
  • Ensure the NbC Operations Manual is understood and applied by training and reinforcing its procedures as the official standard.
  • Subject matter expert on all operational procedures and content on GatherRound.
  • May be required to provide training and operational support during New Bakery Openings.
  • Conduct in-Bakery training for Bakery Owners upon request.
  • Potential to be utilized in other facets of training including, but not limited to, content development, training classes, on-the-job training, reviewing, and operational details.

Scheduling Expectations:

  • Flexibility: Be prepared to work beyond the typical 9-to-5 schedule. Requires morning, afternoon and evening availability.
  • PTO Restrictions: Paid time off may not be available during high-demand times.

Education/Certifications and Work Experience Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • 1-2 years of Instructional experience
  • 1-2 years in training role or Bakery Operator
  • Multi-unit or food experience required
