What You'll Do
As a Sales Manager, you'll be responsible for generating new business while strengthening, growing relationships with existing customers. Key responsibilities include:
Business Development & Sales Growth
- Drive revenue growth by identifying, qualifying, and closing new business opportunities.
- Expand relationships within existing accounts to uncover additional sales opportunities.
- Meet and exceed individual sales goals and performance targets.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline through prospecting, networking, referrals, and lead generation activities.
- Conduct customer meetings, presentations, product demonstrations, and solution discussions.
Relationship Management
- Establish trusted relationships with customers, stakeholders, and decision-makers across assigned territories.
- Serve as a strategic partner by understanding customer needs and recommending value-driven solutions.
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by responding promptly and effectively to inquiries and concerns.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences and successful implementations.
Market & Industry Engagement
- Stay informed about market trends, customer needs, competitor activities, and emerging technologies.
- Develop relationships with industry partners and vendors to strengthen market awareness and referral opportunities.
- Represent Embed at trade shows, networking events, and regional industry activities.
- Provide customer and market insights to leadership to support business growth strategies.
Sales Operations
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, opportunities, and pipeline activity .
- Prepare proposals, quotations, and sales presentations for prospective and existing customers.
- Coordinate with multiple departments to ensure customer expectations and sales objectives are achieved.
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- 1-4 years of experience in sales, account management, business development, or a related customer-facing role.
- Proven ability to build relationships, identify opportunities, and drive revenue growth.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage priorities and work independently.
- Experience using CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) to manage customer relationships and sales activity.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience in technology, software, SaaS, hospitality technology, POS systems, or solution-based sales preferred
- Understanding of consultative or solution-selling methodologies.
- Ability to comfortably discuss technical concepts with customers and stakeholders.
