Position Highlights:
- Lead the Life Enrichment team and provide support while developing and implementing a well-rounded Life Enrichment program for all patients, including evenings and weekends, holidays, and special events
- Complete assessments, care plans, and associated paperwork in a timely manner
- Facilitate monthly Patient Council meetings
- Supervise Life Enrichment/Activities Assistants, including training, scheduling, and evaluations
- Manage the center volunteer program, including recruitment, training, scheduling, and recognition
- Ensure all local, state, and federal guidelines regarding programming are met
- Partner with other departments to support marketing efforts in the community
- Perform other duties as assigned
Experience & Qualifications:
- Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist or Certified Activity Director preferred
- Must become certified within 90 days of hire
- Associate's degree from an accredited college or university, OR
- Satisfactory completion of two years of college, OR
- Two years of experience in long-term care as it relates to activities and memory care
