Job Summary
NEXDINE is seeking a customer-focused and organized Garden Market Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our Garden Market. This role is responsible for delivering an exceptional guest experience, managing inventory and merchandising, supervising daily retail activities, and ensuring the market remains clean, stocked, and welcoming.
The Garden Market Supervisor will also provide support to the main kitchen and dining operations as needed, helping to ensure seamless service throughout the facility.
Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities:
Retail Operations & Customer Service
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Garden Market.
  • Provide outstanding customer service by greeting, assisting, and engaging with guests in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system and accurately process sales transactions, returns, and payments.
  • Address customer questions, concerns, and requests promptly and professionally.
  • Ensure the market maintains a welcoming, organized, and visually appealing appearance.

Inventory & Merchandising
  • Monitor inventory levels and maintain appropriate stock quantities.
  • Receive, unpack, and organize merchandise deliveries.
  • Restock shelves, coolers, and displays to ensure products are readily available.
  • Conduct regular inventory counts and assist with inventory reconciliation.
  • Rotate products and monitor expiration dates to maintain product quality and food safety standards.
  • Create and maintain attractive product displays and merchandising strategies.

Team Leadership & Compliance
  • Supervise daily market activities and assist with training team members as assigned.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, food safety regulations, sanitation standards, and cash-handling procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records related to sales, inventory, and operational activities.
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Kitchen & Dining Support
  • Assist the main kitchen team as needed with food preparation, service, stocking, and other operational tasks.
  • Support special events, catering functions, and community programs when required.
  • Collaborate with culinary and dining staff to ensure a positive guest experience across all service are

Required Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in retail, food service, hospitality, or customer service.
  • Experience handling cash and operating POS systems.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management practices.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 30 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and perform repetitive motions.
  • Ability to work in kitchen, retail, and storage environments.

Work Environment
  • Retail market setting with frequent customer interaction.
  • May require work in kitchen and food production areas.
