NewGen Administrative Services partners with skilled nursing facilities to deliver compassionate, person-centered care. We're looking for an AP Manager to lead a busy accounts payable team, ensure timely and accurate payments, and work hand-in-hand with the Controller to keep our communities supported.
What you'll do:
- Manage the daily AP workflow: assign tasks, monitor productivity, and ensure deadlines are met
- Train and support AP staff on policies, procedures, and best practices
- Oversee vendor payments, expense reports, and timely treasury submissions with precise record-keeping
- Review the AP register for accuracy, perform monthly reconciliations, and audit check requests for proper approvals
- Partner with the Controller on reports, analyses, and recommendations to improve AP performance
- Maintain strict confidentiality across all financial and personnel matters
What you bring:
- Must have: 3+ years of accounts payable management experience
- Must have: Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Must have: Proven ability to lead a team and deliver accurate, on-time payments in a fast-paced setting
- Nice to have: Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or a related field
