     **NORCAL Ambulance is looking to hire a skilled Human Resources Generalist to join our rapidly growing team!**  
 

Hours: Full Time (Monday - Friday)
Pay: $70,000

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in: Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred or
  • Minimum of 4 years of HR experience with a strong focus on employee relations and investigations.
  • Knowledge of California state and local labor regulations and laws.
  • Demonstrated experience in conducting thorough and impartial HR investigations.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and integrity

Key Responsibilities:1. Employee Relations:
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for employees, addressing queries, concerns, and grievances.
  • Foster a positive working environment by proactively identifying and addressing potential sources of conflict or dissatisfaction.
  • Provide counsel to supervisors and managers on employee relations matters, ensuring fairness and consistency.

Investigations:

  • Conduct thorough, unbiased investigations in response to employee complaints or allegations of policy violations.
  • Collaborate with legal and management teams when necessary during investigations.
  • Ensure all investigations are timely, compliant with legal requirements, and thoroughly documented.

2. HR Administration:

  • Oversee various HR functions such as recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, and performance evaluations.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

3.Training and Development:

  • Develop and facilitate training programs focused on workplace conduct, conflict resolution, and other pertinent topics.
  • Support the professional growth and development of our staff through skill-building initiatives.

4. Reporting & Documentation:

  • Maintain meticulous records of employee interactions, investigations, and resolutions.
  • Produce regular reports on HR metrics, such as turnover rates, employee satisfaction, and the outcomes of investigations.
  • **Other duties as assigned
