The Department of Education Leadership, Policy, and Human Development (ELPHD) comprises 40 full-time faculty members and more than 750 students. Faculty in ELPHD prepare counselors, educational leaders, and workplace professionals who are committed to improve education-from K-12 schools, to community colleges and universities, to workplace training-through applied theory, rigorous research, professional ethics, and data-driven best practice. Essential Job Duties
The Department of Education Leadership, Policy, and Human Development (ELPHD) in the College of Education is accepting applications for the position of Lecturer - Professional Track Faculty (part-time) for the 2026 - 2027 Academic Year. Professional track Faculty positions do not carry rank and are one-semester or one-year, with the possibility of renewal.
Successful candidates will teach 1-3 courses on the undergraduate or graduate curriculum, depending on the department's needs. Teaching is in one of the following areas:

• Educational Evaluation and Policy Analysis
• Higher Education
• Community College Leadership
• Adult and Lifelong Education
• Counseling and Counselor Education

This position will remain open through the end of the academic year; however, we will be screening applicants on an ongoing basis.
Other Responsibilities
Other tasks and responsibilities may be assigned based on the needs of the organization and evolving priorities.
Qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience

• Requires master's degree, an equivalent degree, or equivalent experience in the appropriate field of interest. A terminal degree is required to teach at the graduate level.

Other Required Qualifications

• Excellent teaching ability.
• A commitment to the success of students and programs at the University.

Preferred Qualifications

• College teaching experience.
• Demonstrated Experience in Educational Leadership.
