Urgent Care Registered Nurse (RN) - Travel Assignment
Location: Saratoga Springs, NY
Contract Length: 13 Weeks (Temp-to-Hire Opportunity)
Shift: Day Shift - 3x12 Hours
Shift Hours: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM
Schedule: Alternating Weeks of 32 & 36 Hours
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Urgent Care Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment with a leading healthcare facility in Saratoga Springs, New York. This role is ideal for a nurse with a strong background in Urgent Care or Emergency Department settings who thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Shift start times may vary between 7:00 AM and 9:30 AM based on department needs. Candidates must be flexible and willing to float to other areas based on skillset and operational requirements.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care in an Urgent Care setting
- Perform patient triage, assessment, and monitoring
- Interpret telemetry and cardiac rhythms accurately
- Administer medications and treatments safely
- Document patient care using EPIC EMR
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Adapt quickly in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Minimum 5 years of recent Urgent Care or Emergency Department experience preferred
- Active New York RN License required at time of submission
- Experience with EPIC charting system
- Familiarity with Omnicell medication dispensing system
- Strong telemetry and rhythm interpretation skills
- Ability to pass rhythm interpretation examination
- BLS Certification
- PALS Certification
- NIH Stroke Scale Certification
- ACLS Certification
- Triage experience
- Level 1 Trauma experience
