    Job Title: Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)
    Location: Alturas, CA
    Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
    Shift Details: Day Shift - 5x8 Hours


    Job Summary

    "Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join a dynamic rehabilitation team in Alturas, CA. Under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, the PTA will support the delivery of high-quality physical therapy services across acute care, skilled nursing, and outpatient settings.


    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide physical therapy treatments as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist
    • Monitor, evaluate, and document patient responses to therapy interventions
    • Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, gait training, neuromuscular re-education, and mobility activities
    • Utilize therapeutic modalities such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, spinal traction, and soft tissue mobilization
    • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
    • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support optimal patient outcomes
    • Ensure a safe, clean, and compliant treatment environment per facility standards
    • Assist with scheduling, front desk support, and supply coordination as needed

    Requirements
    • Graduate of an APTA-accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program required
    • Active California PTA License required
    • Current BLS certification required
    • Prior experience in acute care, skilled nursing, or outpatient rehabilitation preferred
    • Strong understanding of physical therapy procedures and modalities
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills
    • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
