Duration: 12-Month Contract

NetApp Accredited Hardware Support Engineer (NAHSE)
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced NetApp Accredited Hardware Support Engineer (NAHSE) to provide remote hardware-focused support for enterprise NetApp storage infrastructure. This contractor will be responsible for diagnosing hardware-related issues, supporting break/fix activities, coordinating hardware replacements, and ensuring high availability across storage environments.
The ideal candidate will possess strong hardware troubleshooting expertise, excellent communication skills, and experience supporting enterprise-class storage systems.
Required Certification
  • Active NAHSE (NetApp Accredited Hardware Support Engineer) certification required
Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and resolve NetApp storage hardware issues across enterprise environments
  • Support hardware troubleshooting, maintenance, replacement coordination, and break/fix activities
  • Analyze logs, alerts, and system diagnostics to identify root causes
  • Coordinate with vendors, field engineers, and infrastructure teams for issue resolution
  • Support storage upgrades, hardware refreshes, and deployment activities
  • Document incidents, resolutions, and support procedures
  • Assist with system health monitoring and preventative maintenance efforts
  • Participate in on-call support rotations and escalations as needed
  • Ensure adherence to SLA requirements and operational best practices
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of enterprise storage hardware support experience
  • Strong understanding of NetApp storage hardware platforms and components
  • Experience troubleshooting controllers, disk shelves, cabling, and connectivity issues
  • Familiarity with ONTAP environments and storage infrastructure concepts
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently in a remote support environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Additional NetApp certifications preferred
  • Experience working within enterprise data center environments
  • Experience supporting mission-critical production systems
  • Familiarity with ticketing and monitoring tools such as ServiceNow or similar platforms
