Position Overview

MultiCare Behavioral Health is actively seeking a dedicated and licensed mental health counselor to join our team on a full-time basis. This remote position allows you to work from the comfort of your home while making a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals and families facing a wide range of behavioral health challenges. With a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $105,000 annually, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality mental health services.

This role offers a fully remote work setting, enabling flexibility while you support clients in various locations. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric and psychosocial assessments, inclusive of mental status examinations, to ascertain clients' needs.
• Collaborate with clients to formulate personalized treatment plans that highlight their unique goals, drawing from a variety of therapeutic modalities.
• Deliver individual, couples, family, and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based approaches to foster change and promote mental well-being.
• Implement supportive therapies, including problem-solving sessions, role-playing exercises, social skills development, and assertiveness training to strengthen clients' community engagement.
• Maintain thorough documentation of all clinical interactions and outcomes within our electronic health record system, adhering to established organizational protocols.
• Engage in regular communication with referral sources and multidisciplinary team members to ensure a cohesive approach to client care.
• Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions, adjusting treatment strategies in response to client feedback and outcome measures.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse array of clients battling various mental health issues, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and co-occurring disorders. You will provide compassionate care that promotes healing and resilience, primarily focusing on individuals and families within the Puyallup, Washington community and beyond. Your expertise in community health will be integral to addressing not only individual symptoms but also the social determinants of health affecting your clients.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related field.
• Active licensure in Washington State as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW).
• A minimum of three years of direct patient care experience, demonstrating a deep understanding of therapeutic techniques and client engagement.
• Proficiency in crafting high-quality clinical notes and intake reports that comply with organizational standards.
• Effective time management skills to juggle multiple clients and maintain a balanced workload.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working remotely, with familiarity in telehealth practices.
• Previous work within a community health setting or outpatient services.
• Proven ability to implement evidence-based interventions and a commitment to lifelong learning in the mental health field.
