Position Overview

Motion Craft Wellness is seeking dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapists to join our growing team in Austin, Texas. This full-time, onsite position focuses on delivering high-quality physical therapy services to our cherished geriatric clients. With an annual salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000, this role offers competitive compensation reflective of your expertise and commitment to patient care.

About the Organization

At Motion Craft Wellness, we pride ourselves on being a leading outpatient therapy clinic dedicated specifically to the geriatric population. Our mission revolves around promoting successful aging-in-place for our clients, who have made invaluable contributions to society. We embrace a holistic approach to therapy that emphasizes patient empowerment, dignity, and the prevention of health decline, ensuring our clients experience the best possible quality of life.

Work Environment

As a Physical Therapist in our facility, you will work onsite, primarily in home care settings, providing therapy sessions directly to clients in their residences. This dynamic environment allows you to build meaningful relationships with patients and their families while offering tailored treatments. Our work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, ensuring a balanced lifestyle that promotes work-life harmony.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical abilities, formulating personalized treatment plans that align with their unique goals and capacities.
  • Administer skilled therapeutic services, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and the application of various modalities to enhance patient outcomes.
  • Continuously monitor and document patients’ improvement, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to ensure optimal results.
  • Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals—such as physicians, occupational therapists, and speech therapists—to promote a patient-centered approach to care.
  • Educate patients and their families on effective therapeutic techniques, tailor-made home exercise programs, and injury prevention strategies to facilitate recovery and maintain independence.
  • Develop and implement fall prevention programs aimed at minimizing accident risks among our senior clientele.
  • Commit to lifelong learning by staying updated with the latest advancements in physical therapy practices and participating in continuing education opportunities.
  • Uphold ethical standards in patient care, ensuring confidentiality and a respectful approach in all interactions.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be our geriatric clientele, a population that requires specialized understanding and approaches in therapy. You will engage with elderly patients aiming to maintain or regain their independence following health challenges. Your role is crucial in empowering them to achieve their mobility and functional goals, enhancing their overall quality of life.

Qualifications
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution; advanced degrees are welcome.
  • Valid, active state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
  • Experience in geriatric therapy is a plus; however, we are more than willing to welcome new graduates eager to learn and grow in this fulfilling specialty.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential for fostering trust and understanding between you, your patients, their families, and the multidisciplinary team.
  • Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMRs) and the ability to navigate relevant documentation systems is expected.
  • Knowledge of evidence-based practices and the ability to apply the latest therapeutic techniques appropriately.
  • A commitment to patient-centered care, always aspiring to support patient independence and improve their quality of life.
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.
Preferred Experience

We prefer candidates with prior experience in geriatric therapy, yet we embrace the potential of new graduates who demonstrate a passion for serving our elderly community. Familiarity with innovative therapy technologies and techniques to enhance patient recovery is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

Our team members enjoy a competitive salary range between USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, reflecting your experience and patient care proficiency. In addition to a robust salary, we offer comprehensive benefits that include medical, dental, and vision insurance, ensuring that you and your family have access to quality health care.

Career Growth Opportunities

Motion Craft Wellness is committed to the ongoing professional development of our staff. We provide opportunities for further education, training, and certification in specialized areas of physical therapy. As you grow within our organization, you will have the potential to take on leadership roles, contribute to program development, and mentor less experienced colleagues.

Why Join Our Team

Joining Motion Craft Wellness means becoming part of a dedicated team that values transparency, collaboration, and innovation in therapy practices. You will have the freedom to create a flexible schedule that allows you to balance your personal and professional life while making a meaningful impact on the lives of our senior clients. Our supportive and diverse environment fosters creativity and encourages you to use your clinical judgment to drive patient care.
