Work Environment

This position requires you to work onsite, primarily in a home care setting. Our team operates with flexibility in a collaborative workspace that values open communication and professional growth. Physical Therapists will benefit from our supportive infrastructure that includes detailed payment reports and a culture that encourages clinical judgment in treatment plans. The typical work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm, allowing for predictability in your daily routine.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients’ physical abilities, identifying strengths and limitations to develop tailored treatment strategies.
  • Provide engaging and effective physical therapy treatments that may include therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and various modalities.
  • Monitor patient progress meticulously, documenting changes and adjusting therapy plans as required to promote optimal recovery and function.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals from various disciplines, including physicians and occupational therapists, to facilitate comprehensive care plans.
  • Educate patients and their families about therapeutic techniques, home exercises, safety measures, and injury prevention strategies.
  • Implement and supervise fall prevention programs and safety protocols to enhance patient safety within the assisted living facilities.
  • Stay abreast of current developments in physical therapy practices through continuing education opportunities that promote professional development.
  • Adhere to the highest ethical standards, maintaining patient confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on providing exceptional care to the geriatric community. As a Physical Therapist, you will work closely with seniors who face various physical challenges related to age, chronic conditions, or post-operative recovery. Through compassionate and tailored therapy, you will play a vital role in helping these individuals achieve their rehabilitation goals and maintain their independence.

Qualifications
  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited college or university.
  • An active State license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
  • New graduates are encouraged to apply, although prior experience in geriatric therapy is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential to facilitate effective relationships with patients, residents, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Proficient in utilizing electronic medical records (EMR) and documentation systems to manage patient information accurately.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in a home care setting or working specifically with the geriatric population.

Compensation and Benefits

The Physical Therapist position at Motion Craft Wellness offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually.
