Job description

Morrison Center is seeking a Children’s Care Coordinators, to join our dynamic, multidisciplinary team in Brewer, Maine


Care Coordinators assist individuals and their families to identify strategies that will enable them to meet their goals.

Requirements of the Children’s Case Manager: 

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • One preferred year experience in Children's Services or two years in social services
  • Experience working with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities, preferred
  • Ability to work in person


Responsibilities of the Children’s Case Manager:

  • Working with children who have intellectual and/or developmental disability 
  • Managing a case load of 25 - 30 clients
  • Working with children as young as 6 months – 20 years old.
  • Documentation in accordance with regulatory agencies 
  • Case Manager must represent Morrison Center in the community and act as a liaison with other agencies. 
  • Perform monthly home visits, school observation
  • Support families at IEP meetings, team meetings and medical appointments
  • Complete 90 day continued stay reviews with the family
