Moonlight Mental and Recovery Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) to join our dynamic team. Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand client issues and create tailored treatment plans that address their unique mental health concerns.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, couples, families, and groups, utilizing methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.
• Maintain meticulous and up-to-date clinical records in compliance with legal and ethical guidelines.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure integrated and holistic client care.
• Engage in continuous professional development by participating in workshops and training to stay abreast of new research and therapeutic techniques in the mental health field.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The focus of your work will be on a diverse client population, with an emphasis on individuals and families experiencing a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance misuse. Your expertise will contribute to improving their overall emotional wellbeing and resilience, helping them navigate life’s difficulties.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• Must possess an active and unrestricted license as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in the state of California.
• A minimum of two years of professional counseling experience in a clinical setting is essential.
• Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards governing mental health counseling practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to build rapport with clients from varied backgrounds.
• Proven capability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) software and related telehealth technologies is advantageous.

Preferred Experience

• Specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance misuse treatment is highly preferred.
