Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct initial consultations and assessments to identify clients’ mental health needs and establish a collaborative foundation for treatment.
  • Implement individual therapy utilizing various evidence-based approaches, ensuring personalized care strategies that align with each client's unique circumstances.
  • Set and regularly review therapeutic goals with clients, tracking their progress to ensure accountability and measure improvement.
  • Utilize teletherapy technology to facilitate virtual counseling sessions, ensuring accessibility for clients with mobility issues or who reside in remote areas.
  • Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in accordance with ethical and legal standards, ensuring confidentiality and regulatory compliance.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities, enhancing your clinical skills and staying abreast of current trends in therapy modalities.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily involve individuals and families grappling with a range of mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Qualifications
  • Active and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
  • A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish a secure and trusting therapeutic rapport with diverse client populations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, facilitating effective client interactions and rapport building.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, enabling efficient handling of a caseload and associated administrative tasks.
Preferred Experience
  • Previous experience providing therapy in a private practice setting or with a focus on outpatient mental health services.
  • Background in working with clients with substance use issues or in recovery is highly desirable.
  • Experience utilizing telehealth platforms for providing therapy.
