Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clients' mental health needs, utilizing clinical interview techniques and standardized evaluation tools.
• Develop personalized treatment plans based on assessment findings and collaborate with clients to outline therapeutic goals, tailoring interventions to fit their unique experiences.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or Solution-Focused Therapy via secure video conferencing platforms.
• Provide ongoing support and encouragement throughout the treatment process, regularly reviewing and adapting treatment plans as necessary.
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of therapy sessions, client progress notes, and treatment outcomes, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Mental Health Counselor with Misty Spring Psychiatric Services, you will work with a diverse clientele facing a spectrum of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Qualifications

• Must hold a current and valid license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A minimum of a Master's degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology is required.
• Proven ability to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, effectively building rapport with clients in a virtual setting.
• Exhibit a strong capacity for empathy, understanding, and respect for clients' experiences.
• Possess robust organizational and time-management skills essential for managing caseloads, documentation, and remote therapy sessions efficiently.

Preferred Experience
