Miracle Pathways Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our dynamic team in a remote, outpatient setting. Work Environment

This remote position allows for flexibility while maintaining the high standards of care we provide at Miracle Pathways. With a focus on outpatient services, you will engage with clients primarily through telehealth platforms and occasionally in person at our hospice center. You will collaborate with various professionals, including psychiatrists and nurses, creating a supportive and effective therapeutic environment for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a client advocate, assisting them in navigating community resources, social services, and support systems that enhance their overall well-being.
• Provide immediate support and crisis intervention when necessary, ensuring the safety and stability of clients during critical situations.
• Maintain thorough and confidential client records, including progress notes and treatment plans, in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Collaborate with a diverse team of healthcare professionals to coordinate and deliver holistic care that addresses the comprehensive needs of clients.
• Educate clients on coping strategies, effective communication techniques, and self-care practices to enhance their mental health management.
• Engage in community outreach activities, fostering relationships with local organizations to enhance referral resources and partnerships.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on individuals facing a wide range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, grief, and trauma. Many clients may be dealing with complex life situations, and your role as a social worker will be crucial in helping them navigate these challenges and find effective solutions. You will empower clients to develop resilience and coping mechanisms, fostering their mental and emotional stability.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in New Jersey.
• Have earned a Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) or a closely related field.
• Possess at least two years of professional experience in a relevant social work role, with at least 1 year in the mental health field.
• Exhibit strong interpersonal and communication skills, facilitating effective interactions with clients and team members.
• A commitment to ethical and confidential therapeutic practices is essential.
• Ability to work independently, while also being an active and collaborative team member.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an outpatient mental health center is highly desirable, particularly in settings involving vulnerable or at-risk populations.
• Familiarity with telehealth tools and techniques, ensuring effective virtual therapy sessions.
• Experience in case management and connecting clients to appropriate resources and support.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this full-time position ranges from USD 90,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
