  • Document clinical interactions meticulously, adhering to ethical and regulatory standards, while ensuring timely updates to treatment plans.
  • Lead group therapy sessions, offer psychoeducation, and coordinate support group initiatives that provide peer support and expand therapeutic outcomes.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily involve clients who are engaged in detox programs and require mental health support as part of their recovery journey. This diverse population includes individuals facing various degrees of substance use disorders, from mild to severe, and often co-occurring mental health conditions such as anxiety and depression. Your empathetic approach will be paramount in guiding them toward resilience and improved life quality.

Qualifications

  • Active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of New Jersey is mandatory.
  • A minimum of two years of direct experience in a mental health or outpatient setting is essential.
  • Thorough knowledge of various evidence-based therapeutic modalities and a passion for ongoing learning.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and clinical assessment skills are critical for effective client interaction and collaboration.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working within detox centers or similar facilities focusing on addiction treatment.
  • Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems to streamline record-keeping and coordination with other healthcare professionals.
  • Participation in clinical supervision or mentorship roles that enhance peer learning and professional growth.
Compensation and Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, complemented by a financial sign-on bonus. In addition, you will enjoy comprehensive health insurance, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as a retirement plan with an employer match to help secure your financial future.
