Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to develop individualized therapy plans that align with each client's unique needs.
• Facilitate evidence-based therapeutic interventions for individuals, groups, families, and couples, using therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records while adhering to all ethical and legal standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care that integrates various treatment perspectives and strategies.
• Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities, including workshops and training sessions, to stay current with the latest research in mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your clients will include individuals from various backgrounds experiencing a wide range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and substance use disorders. Mind Wellness Network Association prioritizes serving those with limited access to traditional mental health care services, allowing you to make a meaningful difference in their lives.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field.
• An active and unrestricted license as a Professional Clinical Counselor (LPC) within the state of New Jersey.
• A minimum of two years of experience providing counseling services, ideally in a clinical setting.
• An understanding of legal and ethical standards governing the practice of counseling.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport with a diverse client population.

Preferred Experience

• Experience or specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance misuse counseling is highly valued.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with a healthcare team to enhance client outcomes.
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems and relevant documentation processes.

Compensation and Benefits

• The salary range for this position is between $70,000 and $90,000 annually, based on experience and caseload availability.
