Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess the severity, frequency, and impact of mood disorder symptoms in clients.
• Collaborate with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that align with their unique needs, goals, and preferences.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to deliver effective interventions.
• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, available treatment options, and effective self-care strategies.
• Monitor client progress through regular assessments and modify treatment plans as necessary to meet evolving needs.
• Coordinate care with other medical professionals, including psychiatrists and primary care providers, to ensure an integrated approach to treatment.
• Stay current with the latest research and advancements in mood disorder treatments to enhance therapeutic approaches.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development initiatives.
• Advocate for clients’ mental health needs and work towards reducing the stigma surrounding mental health issues.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The role primarily focuses on individuals experiencing mood disorders, including depression, anxiety disorders, and bipolar disorder. You will work with a diverse client base, addressing the unique circumstances and backgrounds of each individual. Qualifications

• Current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive annual salary ranging from $70,000 to $90,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
