The Mind InStride Therapy Center is actively seeking a dedicated Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our dynamic care team. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to evaluate the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms.
• Collaborate with clients to design tailored treatment plans that align with their individual goals and preferences, ensuring that they reflect a deep understanding of the client's situation.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to address various client concerns effectively.
• Educate and empower clients and their families regarding mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care practices that enhance their therapeutic journey.
• Regularly monitor and document client progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to optimize outcomes.
• Work integratively with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to ensure a cohesive approach to patient care.
• Stay informed about the latest research and advances in mood disorder treatment to continually enhance therapeutic methodologies.
• Maintain thorough and confidential documentation in alignment with legal and ethical guidelines.
• Participate in weekly case consultations, professional development workshops, and other opportunities for skill enhancement.
• Advocate for clients, emphasizing the importance of mental health awareness and support for stigmatized issues.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an LMFT at Mind InStride, you will work primarily with individuals and families experiencing a range of emotional issues, with a concentrated focus on divorce and relationship counseling. You will engage with clients from diverse backgrounds, each with unique stories and challenges, helping them navigate their emotions and build healthier relationships. Our commitment extends towards addressing issues related to mood disorders, ensuring sensitive and effective care.

Qualifications

• A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is mandatory.
• Applicants must possess a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are required to build trusting relationships with clients.
• Demonstrated empathy, a sympathetic approach, and a nonjudgmental stance towards clients’ experiences and struggles are essential.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills are critical for effective case management and administrative responsibilities.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in structural family therapy, strategic systems therapy, narrative therapy, transgenerational therapy, or communication therapy is highly valued.
• Prior experience in outpatient settings or in roles focused on divorce and relationship counseling will be beneficial.
• A familiarity with digital health platforms and electronic record-keeping systems is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

Mind InStride offers a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 90,000 annually, determined based on qualifications and experience.
