Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients, ensuring a holistic understanding of their needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that align with client goals and preferences, utilizing various therapeutic modalities including structural family therapy, strategic systems therapy, narrative therapy, and communication therapy.
  • Employ evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to address issues related to divorce, relationship dynamics, and family conflicts.
  • Provide psychoeducation to clients and families about mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care practices, empowering them with knowledge to aid their healing journey.
  • Monitor and track client progress through regular documentation and treatment plan reviews, modifying strategies based on evolving client needs and feedback.
  • Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated care and to support overall client well-being.
  • Stay informed about current research and trends in mood disorder treatment to enhance clinical practices and improve client outcomes.
  • Ensure that all client documentation is maintained in accordance with legal and ethical guidelines, ensuring confidentiality and security.
  • Engage in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development initiatives to foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Actively participate in client advocacy efforts, addressing mental health stigma, and ensuring that clients' needs are met compassionately and effectively.

Qualifications
  • Must possess a current and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
  • A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field is required.

  • Demonstrated empathy, compassion, and a nonjudgmental attitude towards clients’ experiences, fostering an environment of acceptance.

Compensation and Benefits
  • Annual salary range of USD 70,000 to 90,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
