Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the severity, frequency, and duration of symptoms related to mood disorders in clients.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each client’s unique goals, needs, and personal experiences.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to effectively address client concerns.
• Provide psychoeducation and resources to clients and their families about mood disorders, available treatment options, and self-care techniques.
• Continuously monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary, ensuring responsive and effective care.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals within an integrated care framework for holistic treatment approaches.
• Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in the field of mood disorders to enhance therapeutic strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with individuals battling mood disorders, including depression and anxiety. Qualifications

• A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is mandatory.
