Job description

Job Summary

MITER Brands is seeking a Territory Sales Manager for the New York Metro market to support retail partners throughout New York City. In this role, the Territory Sales Manager will serve as the face of MITER Brands within the retail channel, driving sales growth, strengthening customer relationships, and increasing product awareness across the assigned territory. The Territory Sales Manager will champion MITER Brands products through the retail channel, create new business opportunities, and deliver expertise that helps partners and customers recognize the value and quality of MITER Brands products and services.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Expand MITER Brands’ footprint by cultivating and strengthening relationships within the retail home improvement channel.

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities to drive sales growth and market penetration.

  • Increase MITER Brands’ visibility and market presence within retail locations.

  • Develop and execute plans to generate incremental sales opportunities and market share growth.

  • Conduct product knowledge and sales training for retail associates and pro sales teams.

  • Equip retail partners with the tools and knowledge needed to effectively promote MITER Brands products.

  • Support retailer pro sales teams and key stakeholders to position MITER Brands products as the preferred choice for homeowners and contractors.

  • Provide aftermarket sales and service support to homeowners in partnership with retail customers.

  • Resolve customer concerns while maintaining a high level of service and satisfaction.

  • Partner closely with Inside Sales, Customer Service, Manufacturing, and Delivery teams to ensure seamless order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.

  • Represent MITER Brands professionally and consistently demonstrate company values, safety culture, and commitment to quality.


Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

  • Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to connect with and influence diverse audiences.

  • Proven ability to build relationships and drive sales growth through retail channels.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and managing customer expectations.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent sales experience.

  • Experience in the building products industry preferred.

  • Experience working within the retail home improvement environment preferred.


Job Specific Requirements

  • Territory coverage includes the New York Metro market, including New York City.

  • Ability and willingness to travel throughout the assigned territory, including overnight travel as needed.

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.

  • Ability to support retail partners and customers across a high-volume metropolitan territory.
