Job description

Rate of Pay - $2,038 per week per CBA.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Installation,repair,replacement,andmaintenanceofelectricalsystems. Install electrical wiring, fixtures and equipment as part of the building infrastructure as well as its associated machinery and lighting systems.
  • Maintenance. Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Troubleshooting. Diagnose and repair electrical issues. Ensureappropriateresponsetooperationalemergenciesandotherunforeseencircumstances.
  • Compliance. Ensure that all electrical work complies with local (NYC) and national safety codes and regulations.
  • Inspections. Conduct inspections of electrical equipment and its components. Maintain records and prepare reports
  • Respondingtoemergencysituationsandenvironmentalcomplianceemergencies

Skills and Qualifications
  • Education.Ahighschooldiplomaequivalentwithcompletionofanapprenticeshipprogramorvocationaltraininginelectricaltechnology.
  • Licensing. Special Electrician License NYC DOB
  • TechnicalSkills. Proficiencyinreadingblueprintsandtechnicaldiagrams,aswellasknowledgeofelectricalsystemsandsafetyprotocols.
  • Problem-Solving:Strongcriticalthinkingandproblem-solvingskillstoeffectivelyaddresselectricalissues.
  • PhysicalFitness. Abilitytoperformphysicallydemandingtasks,includingliftingheavyequipmentandworkinginconfinedspaces.
  • Experience and expertise. Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of experience working in live Stage Theatre. Opera experience is desirable

  • Special Electrician License NYC DOB
