Rate of Pay - $2,038 per week per CBA.
Primary Responsibilities- Installation,repair,replacement,andmaintenanceofelectricalsystems. Install electrical wiring, fixtures and equipment as part of the building infrastructure as well as its associated machinery and lighting systems.
- Maintenance. Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Troubleshooting. Diagnose and repair electrical issues. Ensureappropriateresponsetooperationalemergenciesandotherunforeseencircumstances.
- Compliance. Ensure that all electrical work complies with local (NYC) and national safety codes and regulations.
- Inspections. Conduct inspections of electrical equipment and its components. Maintain records and prepare reports
- Respondingtoemergencysituationsandenvironmentalcomplianceemergencies
Skills and Qualifications- Education.Ahighschooldiplomaequivalentwithcompletionofanapprenticeshipprogramorvocationaltraininginelectricaltechnology.
- Licensing. Special Electrician License NYC DOB
- TechnicalSkills. Proficiencyinreadingblueprintsandtechnicaldiagrams,aswellasknowledgeofelectricalsystemsandsafetyprotocols.
- Problem-Solving:Strongcriticalthinkingandproblem-solvingskillstoeffectivelyaddresselectricalissues.
- PhysicalFitness. Abilitytoperformphysicallydemandingtasks,includingliftingheavyequipmentandworkinginconfinedspaces.
- Experience and expertise. Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of experience working in live Stage Theatre. Opera experience is desirable
