Job description

Internal Medicine Faculty Physician

Our established internal medicine residency program is seeking a full-time faculty physician for our outpatient internal medicine clinic in San Antonio, TX. Qualified candidates:

  • Outpatient-only clinical faculty teaching position – no inpatient requirements
  • Previous teaching experience is preferred but not required
  • Comfortable teaching in a newly established program
  • Must be board certified or board eligible in internal medicine
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Part-time-time GME clinical faculty role
  • 1+ years of practice experience preferred, but will consider recent graduates from ACGME-accredited internal medicine residency programs
  • Passion for teaching and delivering high quality patient care
  • Mix of busy outpatient clinic, resident clinical supervision and teaching/administrative duties
