Position Overview

Meru Behavioral Health Center is seeking a dedicated and empathetic Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our expanding team. Work Environment

This position offers the flexibility of a remote work setting, allowing you to conduct therapy sessions from the comfort of your own home. While telehealth has become a primary method of service delivery, you will also engage in interactive video calls, utilizing leading teletherapy platforms to ensure a seamless and supportive experience for your clients. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct individual therapy sessions, engaging with clients to explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors while guiding them towards actionable insights.
• Facilitate couples therapy, providing a safe space for partners to communicate effectively, resolve conflicts, and deepen their emotional connections.
• Work with families to strengthen communication patterns, address conflicts, and improve interpersonal dynamics through structured interventions.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to the distinct needs, goals, and circumstances of each client.
• Conduct thorough assessments and diagnostic evaluations to identify mental health disorders and inform treatment interventions.
• Collaborate with physicians, psychiatrists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure comprehensive support for clients.
• Document patient progress diligently in accordance with clinical standards and organizational protocols, maintaining confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will serve a diverse clientele, including individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and familial conflicts. Qualifications

• A master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field is required.
• Current licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of California.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience providing mental health services in a therapeutic setting.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, allowing for effective engagement with clients and collaboration with team members.
• Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team to achieve common objectives.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in teletherapy and the use of digital communication platforms for counseling services.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), or other relevant frameworks.
• Experience working with specific populations, such as children, adolescents, or couples navigating complex relational dynamics.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $90,000 annually, commensurate with experience, along with potential sign-on bonuses.
