About the Role
We are a leading wholesale importer and distributor serving the event, wedding, floral, party supply, bakery, and décor industries. We're seeking a Junior Ecommerce & Creative Coordinator to be our in-house creative engine — designing product packaging, producing our annual printed catalog, and creating on-brand marketing graphics, while also building and optimizing product listings across our ecommerce and marketplace channels.
This is a production-focused, design-led role weighted roughly
60% creative production / 40% ecommerce execution.
You bring solid, mid-level graphic design ability and can produce finished, print-ready work independently. The ecommerce side (Plytix, Feedonomics, listing optimization) is junior-level and learned on the job under the Senior Creative Operations Lead, following established processes.
This is not a traditional graphic design position — we're looking for a designer who is fluent with AI creative tools and excited to build scalable content workflows.
What You'll Do
Product Packaging Design
- Design retail and wholesale packaging artwork for our branded product lines
- Produce print-ready files to factory spec: die-lines, color profiles, bleeds, barcodes (UPC/EAN)
- Incorporate required compliance elements (warnings, certifications, country of origin)
- Coordinate with Purchasing on die-lines, factory templates, and printer's proofs
Printed Catalog Creation & Editing
- Build and edit the annual printed catalog in Adobe InDesign using a data-driven pipeline (Plytix export → CSV → InDesign templates)
- Lay out pages for SKU density while preserving accurate product size ratios
- Maintain template, typography, and brand consistency across all catalog page families
- Manage the seasonal catalog production cycle (approximately two months per year)
Marketing & Brand Graphics
- Create web banners, storefront assets, email graphics, social content, sell sheets, and promotional materials
- Produce lifestyle and styled product imagery using AI-assisted generation and editing, maintaining strict product fidelity
- Fill photography gaps with composited or AI-augmented imagery (in-vase context for glassware, draped-table context for linens, installation context for lighting and florals)
Ecommerce Product Listings & Optimization
- Build and enrich product listings in Plytix (PIM/DAM) following content SOPs — titles, descriptions, attributes, media
- Organize product media to naming conventions for Cloudinary and channel distribution
- Support feed distribution through Feedonomics to Amazon, Walmart, Wayfair, Faire, eBay, Etsy, Shopify, and Magento 2
- Optimize existing listings for completeness, accuracy, and channel compliance
What We're Looking For
Design (Required)
- Demonstrated proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud: InDesign (multi-page layout, templates, data merge, print production), Photoshop (editing, compositing, retouching, color correction), Illustrator (vector artwork, die-lines, brand assets)
- Working understanding of print production: bleeds, die-lines, CMYK/Pantone color profiles, barcode generation and placement.
- A portfolio of finished, professional design work (packaging, layout, marketing graphics) is required for consideration
AI-Assisted Creative Tools (Required)
- Hands-on experience with AI creative tools and a clear point of view on producing AI-assisted work that does not look AI-generated
- Familiarity with Adobe Firefly and Midjourney is a strong plus; awareness of bulk pipelines (Stable Diffusion/ComfyUI, ControlNet, IP-Adapter) is a plus, not required
Ecommerce (Junior — Trainable)
- Comfort with web-based platforms and structured data; able to follow SOPs and learn systems quickly
- Exposure to a PIM, ecommerce platform, or marketplace console is a plus — Plytix and Feedonomics taught on the job
- Basic spreadsheet competency (CSV handling, simple formulas)
General
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy — essential for both print files and product data
- Ability to manage multiple projects against deadlines, especially during catalog production
- Clear written and verbal communication
Our Creative Standard: "AI-Powered, Not AI-Looking"
AI is core to how this role achieves speed and volume — but it never substitutes for craft. Every deliverable must meet the same professional standard as fully hand-produced work. Product integrity is absolute: AI may change rotation, angle, lighting, or background, but never the product itself. Colors, finishes, proportions, and materials must always match the real product.
