Wound Care Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant – Charleston, IL Region

Location: Charleston, IL and Surrounding Areas

Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM–4:00 PM

Compensation: Competitive Monthly Compensation Based on Patient Volume and Procedures

MedStaff Group is recruiting on behalf of a growing wound care organization seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to provide wound care services throughout the Charleston, Illinois region.

Territory Coverage

Primary coverage includes:

Arcola, Bement, Casey, Charleston, Chrisman, Effingham, Greenup, Marshall, Neoga, Newton, Oblong, Paris, Robinson, and Tuscola.

Charleston is the highest-priority market.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct weekly wound care rounds in skilled nursing and long-term care facilities
  • Perform wound assessments, procedures, and treatment planning
  • Document patient encounters in the EMR
  • Collaborate with facility nursing staff to optimize patient outcomes
  • Travel between assigned facilities throughout the territory

Qualifications
  • Active NP or PA license
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as an independent NP or PA
  • Candidates with less NP/PA experience may be considered if they have significant RN experience in long-term care, wound care, or procedural medicine
  • Strong clinical and communication skills
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel throughout the region
