Job description

Mastech Digital provides digital and mainstream technology staff as well as Digital Transformation Services for all American Corporations. We are currently seeking an Electrical Technical Engineer for our client in theEngineering and Manufacturing domain. We value our professionals, providing comprehensive benefits and the opportunity for growth. This is a Permanent position, and the client is looking for someone to start immediately.

Duration: Full-time

Location: Pittsburgh, PA (Onsite)

Salary: $120,000-$135,000/Annually

Role: Electrical Technical Engineer

Primary Skills: Engineering

Role Description: The Electrical Technical Engineer must have 5+ years of experience.This role is the next level up from the Technical Support Specialist position, providing advanced technical support for power electronics systems.

It requires deeper engineering expertise and a solid foundation in electrical engineering principles to address complex issues and provide higher-level solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Serve as a technical escalation point for complex UPS, inverter, and power electronics issues.

- Analyze and troubleshoot advanced equipment problems, both remotely and on-site.

- Support product testing, upgrades, and engineering change processes.

- Collaborate with R&D and field engineering teams to improve product performance and reliability.

- Provide technical training and guidance to Level 1 Support Specialists.

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (EE) – mandatory.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (Must Have)

Experience: Minimum 5+ years of experience

Relocation: This position will cover relocation expenses

Travel: No

Local Preferred: Yes

Note: Must be able to work on a W2 basis (No C2C)
