Job Summary

The Laundry Attendant is responsible for ensuring all hotel linens, towels, bedding, and laundry items are cleaned, organized, and distributed in a timely and professional manner. This position plays a key role in maintaining Marriott brand cleanliness standards and supporting overall guest satisfaction.

Essential Job Functions
  • Operate commercial washers, dryers, and folding equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Sort, wash, dry, fold, and organize hotel linens, towels, and uniforms.
  • Inspect linens for stains, tears, and damage and report items needing replacement.
  • Maintain proper chemical usage and follow all safety procedures.
  • Keep laundry room clean, organized, and stocked with supplies.
  • Deliver clean linens to housekeeping storage areas as needed.
  • Assist housekeeping team when necessary.
  • Maintain productivity standards while ensuring quality results.
  • Follow Marriott brand standards and hotel policies.
  • Respond professionally to management requests and team needs.
  • Ensure all lost and found items are handled according to hotel procedures.
Qualifications
  • Previous laundry or housekeeping experience preferred but not required.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
