Job description

Role Overview: As a Lead Engineer, you will drive digital optimization through high-impact experimentation and personalization strategies. You will work within a multifaceted eCommerce engineering team to develop data-driven solutions that enhance customer engagement and conversion rates within a large-scale enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategy & Execution: Lead the design and execution of complex A/B and multivariate tests using Adobe Target.
  • Personalization: Develop sophisticated audience segmentation strategies and personalized content experiences.
  • Technical Implementation: Code and implement front-end user experiences using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • System Integration: Integrate Adobe Target seamlessly with Adobe Analytics, AEM, Adobe Launch (Tags), and other Martech stack tools.
  • Analysis & Insights: Analyze test results to provide actionable insights based on key performance metrics.
  • Technical Oversight: Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Adobe Target deployments while ensuring accurate tracking and tagging.
  • Innovation: Stay current with Adobe Target capabilities to propose innovative use cases and optimization goals.
Qualifications & Skills:
Technical Skills:
  • Adobe Suite Expertise: 4+ years of hands-on experience with Adobe Target (VEC, Form-based, and APIs), including AT.js, Adobe Launch, and Web SDK.
  • Programming Languages: Proficiency in JavaScript, Python, RESTful APIs, JSON, and XML.
  • Web Development: Strong understanding of HTML DOM, browser scripting, developer tools, and server-side Target implementations.
  • Ecosystem Integration: Familiarity with Adobe Experience Cloud integrations, including Analytics, CJA, and CDP.
  • Modern Tooling: Experience using AI-powered coding tools such as GitHub Copilot.
Functional & Behavioral Skills:
  • Experience: 8+ years of software engineering or digital optimization experience, ideally in B2B, B2C, or eCommerce sectors.
  • Leadership: Ability to lead technical discussions and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaboration: Proven track record of working within Agile methodologies and collaborating across multi-functional teams to define hypotheses.
  • Compliance: Knowledge of global data privacy regulations, including GDPR, CCPA, and DPDP.
Education & Certifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field.
  • Preferred Certifications: Adobe Certified Expert (Adobe Experience Platform) or equivalent.
  • Mobile Experience: Preferred experience with Adobe Experience Platform Mobile SDK.
