Job Summary
MacLean-Fogg is hiring a Press Operator - 2nd Shift at our Savanna, Illinois manufacturing facility. In this role, you will safely operate mechanical equipment, verify product quality, and troubleshoot basic equipment issues.
Location: Savanna, IL
Work Arrangement: On-site
Schedule: 2nd Shift, Monday-Friday, 3:00 PM-11:30 PM
Pay: $17.00-$19.00/hour, depending on experience
Other Compensation: $2.00 shift differential for 2nd shift

What You'll Do as a Press Operator
Operate assigned mechanical equipment safely and efficiently.
Ensure produced items meet quality control requirements.
Perform basic equipment troubleshooting and make necessary adjustments.
Use basic measuring instruments to verify product specifications.
Read and interpret blueprints when applicable.
Complete first-piece inspections as needed.
Complete production and quality documents fully and accurately.
Follow all safety, environmental, and quality policies and procedures.
What You'll BringRequired Qualifications
High school education.
Machine operation skills.
Ability to interpret work instructions.
Ability to follow written and verbal directions.
Ability to accurately complete production and quality documentation.
Basic mathematical skills.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
This role involves repeatedly lifting up to 50 pounds.
Employees in this role stand for extended periods.
The position requires pushing and pulling objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
Frequent bending and stooping are required.
The role requires the dexterity to handle small objects.
Employees in this role work in a noisy manufacturing environment.
