Job description

ABOUT THE ROLE

MYR Group and its subsidiaries are proud to support the successful transition of active-duty military service members into civilian careers. Through participation in the Department of Defense (DoD) SkillBridge Program, eligible service members gain valuable civilian work experience during the final months of military service. The MYR Group SkillBridge Internship provides transitioning service members with hands-on exposure to the electrical construction industry, offering insight into how complex infrastructure projects are planned, executed, and delivered safely and efficiently. SkillBridge participants will work alongside experienced professionals, develop industry-specific skills, and gain real-world experience that can support long-term career opportunities in construction, engineering, operations, logistics, safety, and corporate support functions.

SkillBridge internships are unpaid and conducted in accordance with DoD SkillBridge program guidelines. Participants continue to receive military pay and benefits through their branch of service. MYR Group does not provide salary, health benefits, PTO, or holiday pay during the internship. Participation in the internship does not guarantee employment, but serves as a potential pathway for future career opportunities within MYR Group.

This internship is exclusively available to candidates approved for participation in the DOD SkillBridge Program.
