MPOWER Physical Therapy is seeking a Physical Therapist for a full-time position in Nashville, TN, with a Monday to Friday schedule and no weekend work.

Candidates must have a graduate degree in Physical Therapy and a minimum of two years of experience in a physician office or orthopedic setting.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Provide high-quality patient care and complete timely documentation
  • Supervise and direct therapy technicians as appropriate
  • Maintain productivity and scheduling expectations
  • Ensure compliance with billing, documentation, and regulatory standards
  • Educate patients and provide home exercise programs using practice-supported technology
  • Communicate effectively with physicians and other healthcare providers regarding patient progress
  • Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities
  • Contribute to a positive, collaborative environment focused on clinical excellence

Qualifications

Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral level degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited university required

Minimum two years' experience in a physician office or orthopedic setting (new graduates must demonstrate superior ability to perform through a clinical affiliation or by other comparable means)

Active Physical Therapy license in the state of Tennessee

Extensive training in orthopedic care and manual therapy preferred

Management experience preferred

Extensive knowledge in exercise physiology, biomechanics and exercise prescription

Ability to manage treatment of multiple patients, administer appropriate modalities and supervise technicians

Working knowledge of billing issues, CPT codes and basic knowledge of insurance related issues

Comfortable effectively using MS office programs such as MS Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook

Great verbal and written communication

Neat and professional appearance

Able to maintain company legal and professional confidentiality requirements across employees, patients, and clients
