Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and assess patients referred by physicians, developing tailored treatment plans to promote optimal recovery.
  • Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions aimed at improving patient mobility and function.
  • Provide hands-on treatment in a variety of settings, focusing on orthopedic rehabilitation, sports medicine, and more.
  • Educate and train patients and their caregivers on treatment plans and recovery strategies to ensure ongoing engagement and motivation.
  • Document patient progress and modify treatment plans based on individual needs and physician feedback to maximize outcomes.
  • Contribute to team goals by collaborating with multi-disciplinary staff to enhance patient experiences and outcomes across the board.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will have the privilege of working with a diverse patient population, including those recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgical interventions, neurological conditions, and sports-related injuries. Your expertise will be crucial in guiding these patients through their rehabilitation process, allowing them to regain strength, mobility, and confidence as they work towards achieving their personal health goals.

Qualifications
  • Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
  • A valid State License in Physical Therapy is required to practice in New Jersey.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to maintain clear communication and documentation.
  • Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems for patient documentation and treatment planning.
  • Ability to establish rapport with patients and caregivers, fostering an environment of trust and healing.
Preferred Experience
  • Minimum of two years of experience in a physical therapy setting, with a focus on orthopedic cases preferred.
  • Experience in utilizing manual therapy techniques and other specialized treatment modalities is highly advantageous.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, preferably through the American Heart Association.
  • A commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated with the latest therapies and practices in the field.
Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, complemented by an extensive benefits package.
