Work Environment

This is a full-time remote position, allowing you to conduct therapy sessions from your home or a private office setting. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, nurses, and other mental health professionals, to create an environment that promotes collaborative care and comprehensive treatment plans for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to evaluate clients' mental health concerns, strengths, and challenges, ensuring a tailored approach to therapy.
  • Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions employing evidence-based practices such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and family systems therapy, with an emphasis on cultural competence.
  • Design and implement customized treatment plans that set clear therapeutic goals, interventions, and metrics for progress monitoring.
  • Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to share insights, develop comprehensive strategies, and coordinate care, fostering a holistic approach to the client's well-being.
  • Conduct crisis intervention services, including risk assessments and safety planning to support clients in acute distress.
  • Serve as a strong advocate for clients' rights, assisting them in connecting with community resources and providing ongoing case management support.
  • Participate in community outreach activities aimed at increasing the visibility of mental health issues and facilitating access to essential resources.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Mental Health Therapist at Lyra Behavioral Center, you will engage with a diverse clientele, including individuals from various cultural backgrounds facing an array of mental health challenges. Your role will require cultural sensitivity and awareness to address unique client needs effectively, ensuring that interventions are both relevant and impactful.

Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
  • Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
  • Strong knowledge and experience related to mental health issues specific to diverse populations.
  • Exceptional communication skills, empathy, and the ability to build rapport with clients from various backgrounds.
Preferred Experience
  • Prior experience in community mental health or similar settings is strongly preferred.

Compensation and Benefits
