Job description

We are seeking a professional, dependable, and customer-focused Security Officers to join our team at a prestigious Class A commercial property in Denver.

The ideal candidate understands that excellent security and excellent customer service go hand in hand. You will interact daily with tenants, executives, visitors, vendors, building management, and guests. The successful candidate will be approachable, polished, observant, and confident while maintaining a professional security presence.

Key Responsibilities

Security & Safety
  • Maintain a highly visible and professional security presence throughout the property.
  • Monitor building entrances, exits, common areas, parking areas, and other assigned locations.
  • Conduct regular interior and exterior patrols.
  • Monitor CCTV, access control systems, alarms, and other security technology.
  • Verify credentials and control access in accordance with site procedures.
  • Identify and report suspicious activity, safety hazards, security concerns, and policy violations.
  • Respond appropriately to alarms, emergencies, disturbances, and other incidents.
  • Assist with emergency response, evacuations, and other lifesafety procedures.
  • Contact law enforcement, fire department, EMS, or other emergency services when appropriate.
  • Prepare accurate and detailed incident reports and daily activity reports.
    • Hospitality & Customer Service
  • Greet tenants, visitors, and guests in a professional and welcoming manner.
  • Provide directions and assistance throughout the property.
  • Respond to questions and requests with patience, professionalism, and a positive attitude.
  • Build positive relationships with tenants, property management, vendors, and visitors.
  • Maintain a calm and professional demeanor when handling difficult or stressful situations.
  • Understand that every interaction is an opportunity to provide exceptional service.

  • Maintain a clean, professional appearance and comply with all uniform and grooming standards.
  • Follow all Company and client policies, procedures, and post orders.
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding client, tenant, employee, and security information.
  • Demonstrate reliability, punctuality, accountability, and strong attendance.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors, coworkers, management, and client representatives.
  • Work independently while remaining an engaged and supportive member of the security team.
    • Qualifications
  • Must meet all applicable requirements to work as a security officer in Denver, Colorado.
  • Must obtain and maintain any security license or registration required for the position.
  • Ability to successfully complete required background screening and drug testing.
  • Must be able to work the assigned schedule, including weekends, holidays, or overnight shifts when required.
  • Note: Denver positions may be subject to specific local security licensing requirements. Applicants should be prepared to satisfy all applicable licensing and certification requirements for the position.
    • Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to conduct routine patrols throughout a commercial property.
  • Ability to use stairs when necessary.
  • Ability to respond promptly to emergency situations.
  • Ability to work both indoors and outdoors as required.
