Position Overview

Livewell Therapy is actively seeking a dedicated and fully licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our team in a full-time, remote setting. This position provides an incredible opportunity for a compassionate professional to make a real impact on the mental health of individuals from diverse backgrounds. Our ideal candidate is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) who will engage in comprehensive assessments, therapeutic interventions, and collaboration with a talented multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify clients' mental health needs and develop tailored treatment plans, incorporating client input and preferences.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic services using a range of methodologies, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based approaches, to individuals, couples, and groups.

• Collaborate with case managers, psychiatrists, and other health care professionals to ensure coordinated and holistic care for clients, discussing treatment progress and adjusting plans as necessary.

• Offer crisis intervention support to clients in acute distress, utilizing de-escalation techniques and safety planning to maintain client safety.

• Engage actively in community outreach initiatives, collaborating with local organizations to raise awareness about mental health issues and available resources.

Our patient population is diverse, encompassing individuals of all ages, backgrounds, and experiences dealing with a wide range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. Qualifications

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A master’s degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited program.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and maintain strong therapeutic relationships with clients.

• Demonstrated cultural competence and sensitivity to effectively engage with a diverse client base.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills to ensure accurate and timely documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of clinical experience providing mental health counseling, preferably in a community health setting or via telehealth.

• Experience in working with specific populations such as children, adolescents, or trauma survivors is a plus.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms to facilitate virtual client sessions.

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive annual salary in the range of $70,000 - $80,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
