Work Environment

As a Medical Assistant in our outpatient clinic, you will work onsite at our modern, well-equipped facility. Key Responsibilities
  • Administrative Support: Manage patient appointments efficiently, ensuring that all records are updated accurately in our electronic health record (EHR) system for seamless access. Maintain precise medical charts that reflect patients' medical histories and treatment plans.
  • Patient Interaction: Greet patients warmly upon arrival, gathering comprehensive medical histories and preparing them for examinations. Your ability to make patients feel comfortable is essential for fostering trust and enhancing their overall experience.
  • Clinical Assistance: Provide vital support to physicians during patient exams, procedures, and minor surgeries. Familiarize yourself with medical equipment and maintain strict organizational and sanitary standards in all clinical settings.
  • Laboratory Duties: Skillfully collect and prepare specimens for laboratory testing, ensuring they are labeled accurately and documented according to protocols. Conduct basic lab tests, such as urinalysis and EKGs, while interpreting results with precision.
  • Medication Administration: Under physician guidance, administer medications, including injections, with a focus on patient safety and adherence to strict dosage guidelines.
  • Patient Education: Provide clear and concise explanations regarding medications, procedures, and general healthcare practices, empowering patients with the knowledge to take charge of their health.
  • Routine Care: Perform essential patient care tasks, including checking vital signs and documenting changes accurately, ensuring every detail contributes to the patient’s treatment plan.
  • Facility Maintenance: Uphold cleanliness and order in examination rooms, with responsibilities including sterilizing instruments and managing medical supply inventories effectively.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this full-time Medical Assistant position ranges from USD 50,000 to 65,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
