Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial assessments and thorough evaluations to identify clinically relevant needs and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique circumstances.
• Provide a variety of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy, delivering engaging and evidence-based interventions.
• Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team, participating in case discussions and treatment planning to ensure holistic care for every client.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of clinical interventions and client progress, adhering to ethical standards and legal requirements pertinent to mental health practice.
• Engage in continuous professional development through workshops and training, ensuring that your therapeutic practices remain aligned with current best practices in mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an LPC at Life Stance Behavioral Center, you will work with a diverse clientele, including children, adults, and families experiencing various mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and substance abuse. Your work will directly contribute to improving clients' emotional well-being and fostering resilience amid life's challenges.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field is required for the role.
• You must hold an active and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Oregon.
• A minimum of two years of counseling experience, notably in a clinical setting, is essential to effectively address the complex needs of our clients.
• Strong understanding and adherence to legal and ethical standards in mental health practice.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to establish rapport and trust with a diverse range of clients.
• Proven capability to collaborate effectively within a healthcare team model.
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software and related technologies is highly desirable for efficient documentation and communication.

Preferred Experience

• Specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance use treatment is strongly favored.

Compensation and Benefits

• The salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 90,000 per year, commensurate with experience and caseload complexity.
