Job description

A DAY IN THE LIFE

Serves as the first point of contact for the company, delivering a professional and welcoming experience to every visitor, client, vendor, and employee. Manages the front desk and main phone line, screening and routing incoming calls and inquiries to the appropriate departments and jobsites. Performs routine clerical and administrative procedures in support of assigned company departments, including mail handling, data entry, document preparation, and office supply coordination. Supports day-to-day front office operations, maintains a clean and organized reception area, exercises discretion when handling sensitive and confidential information, and works to keep front office processes accurate, consistent, and efficient.

STEP INTO THE ROLE

  • Serves as company receptionist; answers, screens and routes incoming phone calls and greets and directs clients, visitors and vendors according to front desk check-in procedures.
  • Maintains good rapport with field personnel calling in for assistance and ensures inquiries are properly directed.
  • Provides clerical support to various departments and jobsites as needed (copying, filing, data entry, supplies, etc.).
  • Sorts incoming mail and distributes daily. Preps outgoing mail and delivers to the post office each afternoon.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • Minimum of 2 years of customer service, front desk reception or call center experience.
  • Minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
