Position Overview

Life Line Counseling is seeking a dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team in a remote role dedicated to enhancing the mental health and well-being of the communities we serve. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth assessments to identify the unique social, emotional, and environmental challenges faced by clients.
• Develop customized service plans that articulate clear goals and interventions tailored to each client's needs.
• Provide compassionate individual and family counseling across a variety of issues, fostering a safe and supportive space for clients to express their needs.
• Engage collaboratively with clients to devise personalized service plans and connect them to necessary community resources, such as housing, support groups, and legal services.
• Offer crisis intervention services, perform risk assessments, and develop safety plans for clients in imminent danger.
• Coordinate and collaborate with community organizations and agencies to ensure a cohesive support network for clients.
• Participate actively in community outreach initiatives that educate the public and promote our agency's services.
• Engage in regular case conferences, team meetings, and ongoing staff training to stay updated and improve service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily focus on underserved populations, including individuals and families navigating complex issues such as mental health challenges, trauma, and economic hardship. By applying a trauma-informed care approach, you will be equipped to deliver tailored interventions that empower clients, build resilience, and facilitate lasting change in their lives.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• Current and active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is mandatory.
• Demonstrated understanding and knowledge of social and economic justice issues, as well as community resources available in the Lenexa area.
• Exceptional communication skills, cultural competence, and proficiency in problem-solving are essential for this role.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working in a social service agency or similar mental health setting is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices and therapy modalities that support client recovery and empowerment.
• Previous experience conducting community outreach or education initiatives is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 60,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to base salary, we provide a generous sign-on bonus to new employees. Our benefits package includes:
