About the Organization

Located in Arlington, Texas, Life Essence Center is dedicated to fostering health and wellness through accessible and compassionate care. Our community health clinic serves a wide array of clients, facilitating an environment where culturally competent and client-centered mental health services can thrive. As a licensed clinical social worker at Life Essence Center, you will collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals committed to making a positive impact in the lives of our clients.

Work Environment

This remote role provides flexibility and autonomy, all while ensuring strong support and communication through a collaborative healthcare team. Our clinicians utilize secure telehealth technologies to connect with clients. This role is vital in fostering a supportive environment that makes mental healthcare accessible and effective, especially in a community oriented towards holistic healing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough mental health evaluations for clients over telehealth platforms, including understanding their history, current challenges, and risk factors to develop tailored treatment strategies.
  • Create and implement personalized treatment plans in collaboration with clients aimed at resolving issues, enhancing emotional resilience, and fostering successful integration into their daily lives.
  • Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed care modalities to address a spectrum of mental health challenges.
  • Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions to promote personal growth and equip clients with effective coping mechanisms.
  • Engage with other mental health professionals, including psychiatrists, to ensure cohesive treatment approaches and comprehensive care.
  • Provide crisis intervention services as needed, employing de-escalation techniques and making appropriate referrals for higher levels of care.
  • Deliver psychoeducational workshops to clients and their families to enhance understanding of mental health issues and promote wellness strategies.
  • Document and maintain accurate clinical records, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with all legal and ethical guidelines.
  • Participate actively in team meetings and professional development activities aimed at improving clinical skills and fostering collaboration among staff.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The LCSW will primarily support a diverse client base, including individuals from various cultural backgrounds and age groups, facing a range of mental health challenges. You will focus on ensuring equitable and effective care that acknowledges and respects cultural identities while addressing unique individual needs.

Qualifications
  • Possession of a Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
  • Current and valid LCSW licensure in the state of Texas.
  • A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience with proven expertise in mental health care, preferably within community or educational settings.
  • Strong understanding of a variety of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities.
  • Experience conducting mental health assessments and formulating treatment plans based on diagnostic criteria.
  • Proven skills in crisis intervention and the ability to assess high-stress situations effectively.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to develop rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and a good command of basic computer functions.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working within a community health setting or telehealth platforms.
  • Proficiency in trauma-informed care approaches and integration of such practices into therapeutic work.
  • Understand the navigation of mental health care resources and community support options available in Texas.
Compensation and Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including:

  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance designed to support your wellness.
  • A retirement savings plan with employer-matched contributions.

  • Opportunities for career advancement within our expanding community health clinic.
