Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct individual and group counseling sessions, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques tailored to clients' needs.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans with measurable goals based on client assessments and feedback.
  • Support clients in acquiring essential coping strategies, emotional regulation skills, and personal growth techniques to overcome life challenges.
  • Engage in regular collaboration with multidisciplinary teams of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to optimize client care and outcomes.
  • Maintain up-to-date and confidential client records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring accuracy for continuity of care.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our client base is diverse, spanning various demographic backgrounds, ages, and mental health challenges. You will engage with adolescents, adults, and families dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, and other significant life transitions. Your role will be crucial in creating safe, inclusive spaces where clients feel heard and validated.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
  • An active license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Connecticut is mandatory.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for effective client interaction and documentation.
  • A demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
  • Experience working with diverse populations, showcasing cultural competence and sensitivity.
Preferred Experience
  • Prior experience in a telehealth setting or virtual counseling is highly desirable.
  • Experience with specific therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or trauma-informed care.
  • Knowledge of local community resources and support systems to aid in client referrals.
Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is competitive, between USD 70,000 and 90,000 annually, based on caseload and experience. We offer a supportive work environment with numerous advantages, including:
