Job Description: Job Summary: The Hospitality Operations Manager is a position that will primarily focus on Membership retention and the services that contribute to the development of an exceptional and elevated hospitality experience. This position will largely be comprised of planning, developing, or coordinating the on-site sales, managing the wine inventory, assist in overseeing concierge and membership services on the property, and coordinating training and operations activities at Leoness Cellars. The Hospitality Operations Manager will continually develop our human resources to ensure that the supervisory team and staff are achieving established objectives through coaching, mentoring, the sound use of judgment, and timely decision making. Additionally, the role will require participating in other related projects and tasks as assigned by Management and reporting on facility activities and Vital Factors.

Task
• Direct and coordinate management, training and activities that support the sales and delivery of wine and food on the Member’s Terraces.
• Oversee all activities directly related to providing hospitality services at Leoness Cellars.
• Monitor health and safety as it relates to food service and food handling on the Member Terraces. Require all service staff that handle the transportation of food to acquire and maintain current food handler’s cards from the Riverside County Department of Health.
• Responsible for inventory management.
• Anticipate Members’ needs and ensure that service meets/exceeds expectations to ensure a memorable and elevated hospitality experience.
• Facilitate activities of businesses or departments concerned with the pricing, sales or service of wine, food and merchandise.
• Monitors setup, maintenance, cleanliness and safety of Leoness Cellars.
• Act as initial contact for disciplinary actions in order to assure that actions are consistent and accurate with company's progressive disciplinary policies. Provides a timely detailed account of any disciplinary issues to the Human Resources Manager.
• Performs opening and closing duties and follows appropriate checklists to ensure compliance.
• Review financial statements, sales and activity reports, and other performance data to measure productivity and goal achievement and to determine areas needing cost reduction and program improvement.
• Manage staff, preparing work schedules, and assigning specific duties.
• Implement departmental policies, goals, objectives, and procedures, conferring with Senior Leadership and staff members as necessary.
• Determine staffing requirements, and work with other managers to interview, hire and train new employees, or oversee those personnel processes.
• Direct activities such as sales promotions, coordinating with other department heads as required.
• Monitor businesses and agencies to ensure that they efficiently and effectively provide needed services while staying within budgetary limits.
• Ensuring compliance with local, state and federal laws relating to serving, sales and distribution of alcohol.
• Perform other assigned projects and duties as directed by Senior Leadership.
